It will also see rapid adoption across a broad ecosystem with over 233 million devices expected to enter the market in 2024, reaching 2.1 billion by 2028.

Smartphones, PCs, tablets and access points (APs) will be the first to adopt Wi-Fi 7, but above all augmented and virtual reality will see a clear increase in their performance, thanks to the arrival of advanced features that include 320 channels MHz, ultra-wide that double the size of today’s widest channel to facilitate multigigabit device speeds and high throughput.

Multi-Link Operation will allow devices to transmit and receive data simultaneously across multiple links, for higher throughput, reduced latency and improved reliability. Also important is 4K QAM, which achieves transmission speeds 20% higher than 1024 QAM.

Wi-Fi 7 substantially improves efficiency, even reducing overall costs.
