The South Korean giant dispels the last doubts and finally announces the Unpacked which could change the way we interact with smartphones. Yes, because Samsung will respond to Google, the first major brand to use generative Artificial Intelligence, released in the Pixel 8 and 8 Pro.

Now it’s Samsung’s turn. Expectations are very high both for the South Korean giant, more determined than ever to maintain world leadership in smartphones, and above all for its competitors, first and foremost Apple, which will be released in September with its generative AI. At least that’s what they say.

Samsung one and three: from the Galaxy S24 to the Plus, passing through the Ultra. All the previews

Sansung is usually always very tight-lipped when it comes to anticipation, but this time it’s different, precisely because of the discussion on AI, or AI to put it in English: it will certainly be the one waiting to be discovered. For the rest, a lot is known about the new smartphones. Starting from their number, three… the perfect number: Galaxy S24, in its Plus and Ultra version.

The standard version will have a 6.2″ FHD+ AMOLED display, 120 Hz, 2,500 nits. And it will mount a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 or Exynos 2400 processor, depending on the market. 8GB of RAM, 4,000 mAh battery with 25W charging: 147 x 70.6 x 7.6 mm its dimensions, 168 grams its weight.

The display is larger in the Samsung Galaxy Plus: AMOLED 6.7″ WQHD+, 120 Hz, 2,500 nits, same processor with the differential depending on the market. Eight gigs of RAM, which could become 12. Larger battery, for 45W charging; Plus larger also in terms of dimensions: 158.5 x 75.9 x 7.75 mm

The Ultra in particular should stand out for its titanium body (like the iPhone 15, more or less) and the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC regardless of the market. A lot is known, not everything, given that Samsung could surprise by bringing out some surprises, perhaps an accessory. Or who knows. AI features will dominate anyway. Appointment for everyone on January 17th at 6pm (it is already possible to register for the Samsung event directly on the portal. The era of AI on Samsungs starts from here.
