It’s almost difficult to recognize it from its predecessor.

Unlike the Huawei P60 which has a rectangular lens configuration, the new render on the P70 shows a square structure, with the optical module including a large lens in the center, conceivable as the main camera. Additionally, the ultra-wide-angle lens and periscope sensor are placed on both sides of the main lens.

As if that wasn’t enough, another change is given by the flash. Which appears at the left edge of the camera frame. Compared to the P60 series, the render of the Huawei P70 shown by Digital Stadion shows a larger module area. Curved edges with volume rockers and a power button on the left side. If all this were to be confirmed, it would confirm Huawei’s desire to implement new and powerful lenses in the P70 range.

Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo also said that Huawei will use a refined ultra-wide-angle lens for the P70, supplied by Genius Electronic Optical. Huawei is also reportedly testing new camera sensors such as the IMX 989 and OV50H, for better lighting and dazzling shots. The launch of Huawei P70 is scheduled for March 2024, therefore after Samsung, but with this render it may have piqued the curiosity of many users of the Chinese smartphone manufacturer.
