The Redmi 13C could be the surprise of this end of 2023 and beginning of 2024: a promising but low cost smartphone ideal for almost everyone.

Certainly the Christmas gift period has long passed but this doesn’t mean that you can’t take a look at the offers, especially when you happen to lay your eyes on a smartphone that promises to be the answer to the needs of a very wide range of users.

Now you can buy the Redmi 13C

We are talking about all those who need a smartphone that is reliable but have no intention of spending dizzying sums to bring home new technological equipment. Because it is true that on the one hand there are those who, out of necessity or whim, get their hands on very high-end products, with specifications that are consequently more similar to those of a computer than to those of a telephone.

But on the other hand there is a vast range of other users who instead live peacefully, making do with slightly lower cost products. But now talking about low cost certainly does not mean talking about poor quality products.

The wait for the Redmi 13C is over, the low cost Xiaomi that enchants

And the demonstration comes precisely from the specifications of the new Redmi 13C which is already available on the official Xiaomi website and in a series of authorized retailers. Xiaomi’s new entry level has finally arrived in Italy and if you still haven’t decided or been able to decide to change your smartphone, this could be what you were waiting for.

You can immediately buy a Redmi 13C

What sets smartphones apart these days? The features you need to look at are mainly three: the rear camera rather than the front one, the SoC and the memory. Looking at the specifications of the new product that has finally arrived in Italy from Xiaomi, as regards the camera, we have a rear one made up of two lenses, one of 50 MP f/1.8 and the other of 2 MP f/2.4 for the macro while the front camera is 8 MP f/2.0.

Not the most powerful camera there is but certainly a more than decent camera for documenting your everyday life. The internal processor is instead a 12 nm Mediatek Helio g85 already present on the Redmi Note 9 and which is therefore rather well-tested. The processor is equipped with 8 cores with a maximum frequency of 2 GHz. The internal memory is available in two variants with 6 GB or 8GB of RAM and 128GB or 256GB of space.

Since it is a Xiaomi product, inside there is Android in the MIUI 14 version, or Android 13. It remains to be seen whether the Redmi 13C will one day be among the smartphones that will receive the HyperOS update. We are faced with a smartphone that is sold in its most powerful and capacious version, i.e. the 8GB and 256GB combination, for less than 180 euros. An inexpensive but highly reliable and performing product.
