Demetrius Campbell, also known as Yung Ghost, tragically lost his life at the age of twenty on May 4, 2011. Friends and family remember him as a unique talent, loyal friend and a man of integrity.

A Friend’s Eulogy
By Andrew Bigelow (Also known as Society)
I keep waitin' to hear from you D
I guess it’s sinkin' in now that I’m writing your eulogy
When you passed, all I could think about was you and me
But truth is I had to see to understand you affected all the people in front of me
We keep you in memory, in our hearts and on a tall T
I promise to give your family all of me
If anyone knew, you knew life ain’t easy
But you accepted the challenge, happiness and smile contagious
Humor outrageous, hard to think you wont be with me writing life's pages
I haven't been able to read this with out cryin'
Thinkin' bout couple conversations we had about death and dyin'
You said you don’t want people to mope around
But it’s hard to celebrate when our hope is down
Due to another soldier down
Another brother down
A son down, a nephew down, a homie down, best friend down,
Another G down, an emcee down
Another victim of the ghetto, down
But your more then a statistic D, your profound
And now you’re with the highest most
So I pray for you, in the name of the father, the son,
and Holy Ghost
Rest in Peace Demetrius 'Yung Ghost' Campbell
