San Jose's Vietnamese Community Holds Forum on Police Chief Selection

The Vietnamese community of San Jose came together to discuss their criteria for the selection of the next San Jose Police Chief. The dialogue centered around officer-involved shootings and building back trust between law enforcement and immigrant communities.

This event was led by the Asian American Center of Santa Clara County, other leading Vietnamese community groups, and the Coalition for Justice and Accountability.

Each week until the selection of the San Jose Police Chief, the Coalition for Justice and Accountability will be releasing a "Message to the Next San Jose Police Chief" from various San Jose residents on sjbeez.org.
